I am looking for a game like Ratchet & Clank or Spyro, but easier or with less fighting.?

I really like collecting points and upgrading things and helping characters in games. The later installments of R & C and S have become too hard and un-nice for me. So if anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
