The other day, I went into my 3 year old's room and it smelled horribly. Then, at day care a few days later, he peed on himself, and when his teacher thought that he was wet but wasn't sure, she asked him if he was wet, and he said, "No". She then went closer to him, and saw that he definitely was wet, so that was a 2nd lie over similar cirstances within a few days. How would you handle this?

Freehand 11 MX Blues?

All hail fellow designers. Do any of you have this problem... Whenever I apply an effect to a graphic in Freehand - be it vector or tiff - like transparency / gradient fill etc it distorts EVERYTHING when you print it to pdf. I have to make the entire background with effects in Photoshop and import it which is a total pain in the azz. What the hell is going on? Is it a bug in Freehand? If I do effects in Corel and pdf it works fine. Any solutions?

i don't know if you've ever heard of DOMS. but you get atrophied in your muscles after you initially start workin out so thats where the soreness comes from, but after some routine working out the soreness will subside. no soreness doesn't mean you're not working out hard enough.3 times a week is good. you can exercise your abs for days on end but not too much and not the same particular workout because you will get the plateau effect which means your body will be accustomed to the workout and the results will be minimal so mix it up a little! good luck to you.

I am sure this is awkward. Javier Bardem for me because he played one of the most frightening characters ever on film and barely spoke a word. You might say so did Arnold Shwarzenegger in Terminator, but he was scary looking and could barely speak english at the time that film was made. 5 Months After Surgery and Still pain, Why?

I am 21 yrs old, I had tubes put in my ears because I had so much pressure built up behind my ear drum and a 40% hearing loss in both ears. Why not just make a fictional town? It'll be more convenient for you in the long run, when you have to start describing it and talking about the people in it and such. If it's really a small town, nobody will mind that you made it up. Come to think of it...in old books, they made it really obvious when things were made up. If Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters could get away with saying things like "He lived in --shire." or "My mother died in 18--" then you probably can get away with making something up, too.

i think apologizing when fault is yours is more difficult because if fault is yours then that means you did something wrong, so somebody could be mad at you.. that way i think you try harder to make the apology more accaptable (unless you have no heart and dont care if the person accepts your apology) and also, yoru conciense is probably bugging you, which could make you more nervous of hoping the person will forgive.

I had a dream ( they are rare for me as is) last night that included a bright red snake. What might that mean?

I very rarely dream but last night was one of those nights and I dreamed that my wife and kid, as well as myself were out and about. We encountered numerous animals all around the house I even stepped on an iguana. Then it hit me and I told my wife "the only thing we haven't seen is a snake but there is bound to be one around." In the dream I felt as if there was only one spot I hadn't searched and there is a pathway with water on both sides, then a large ark covered by ivy bushes and vines all over it. As I walked under the ark I see the reflection of the snake in the water, look up, grab it's tail and jerk on it but not enough to pull it down. After a brief "I found it" to my wife I flipped the ark over and in the process the snake slithered free a bit and then I looked into its eyes. The snake was red. The entire body and just as I got that bad feeling it lunged, I awoke swinging my arm in the direction to knock it away. Any idea of what this may mean or symbolize because my last dream was of a car wreck and the next day I ended up in a car wreck. I believe that Lindsay and Micheal are very close to each other. I think this because Lindsay was going through fame and so the only people she could actually trust and be really close with was her family. Also, with her parents divorce and the other children being so much younger also probably pulled them more together. We rented out space to tenants in a school building that we took care of in Detroit, right across the street from the old Packard car plant.. The tenants happened to have illegal drugs in their area. This is a 37,000 square foot building, everything that they were doing down there was locked off and concealed. Before they even signed the agreement we made them secure there own area for the sake that no one could say there property was stolen, we also had other tenants as well and made sure they did the same thing. Now when the cops raided the building on an anonymous drug tip, my fiance let them in without a warrant and made several statements to them, because he didn't think there was any problem. Big surprise for him! They could not find any evidence on the men who did it, but they knew who the men were they just didn't have probably linking cause to charge them or even bring them in for questioning, except for the lease agreement. The day the raid happened my fiance was taking out the gutter using a shotgun, he thought they initially came there to get him in trouble for shooting off in the city limits. The reason he did that was to blow the gutter off the building it is 100 years old, it leaks and was causing major damage. We couldn't afford a lift, and we couldn't get close enough to it to just knock it off. The shotgun had Double Odd Buckshot in it, big deal, hunting game, do you know how many gun shots go off in Detroit? We lived there, almost every five minutes you hear one. I believe this is a vast conspiracy against my fiance because without him shooting off the gun or making the statements, they would have never of had a case. I can show you all proof and doents, and even all the evidence they have on him. I need 1,000 to retain a lawyer. The rest we can put on a payment plan and the rest of the bond money he will claim for his whole retainer fee after trail is over and sentencing comes. I am 21 and 3 days ago I started having a sore throat and stuffy nose, I thought it was allergies. Well my throat became worse and everytime I swallow it feels like razorblades. I have a constant headache, I can't eat, drink warm or cold, I have no appetite, pain and stiffness in shoulder abd neck, stuffy nose that hurts everytime I blow my nose. My tonsils are so red and swollen and they have white patches on them(tonsil stones I ume), I had blurriness, I can't sleep. I've tried taking aspirin, advil and nothing works. I've also tried tea, ice cream, salt and water gargle and Johnny will stop it. K also have a whiteish coating in my mouth when I wake up. I am dehyratef and have cracked lips. One of my tonsils started bleeding last night. I am pretty sure I have tonsillitis. Ive had strep throat and this is way worse. Wat do u guys think?

I feel as though my job is forcing me to be vaccinated against the H1N1 virus!!!?

I work as a phlebotomist at a blood center. We have been offered the H1N1 vaccine and I don't want it. I already got the seasonal flu vaccine and now they want me to get this new vaccine. We were told by our CEO that if we choose to refuse the vaccine and our town or area has been determined to be suffering from an H1N1 epidemic then we may be asked to not work. How long are we to stay home? Probably until the situation clears up and everyone starts getting better. Who knows how long this could take? My point is I think the blood center is bullying me into getting this uncertain vaccine. I don't think it's right. What do you guys think? I saw it yesterday. The action is far superior to the first two. There is a love scene; if you would call it that. You don't actually see anything. A clip or two of them kissing and then they show her sitting on him,literally, but that is it as far as . You know who dies and doesn't in the end. Personally, I am a fan of underworld so I enjoyed it. But other than a few people being speared in the head and blood gushing everywhere, it isn't really R material. It can be a make you a little on edge at times, but it's not scary. It was good. It probably is too much for a 13 year old which is why it was R. I recommend it.

Ply Gem/Great Lakes Windows Reviews?

Has anybody ever heard of Ply Gem Windows or any of the subsidiary brands? I am looking at getting some Ply Gem/Great Lakes/ Grand view 4000 (see why it's confusing?) and I was wondering if anybody knew anything about them or liked them? They seem really heavy duty, but it's going to be a ton of money to replace them all, but if I am going to do it, I want to do it right. I worked for Pella for a couple of years, so I am admittedly a little biased toward them, but I want the best window for a reasonable cost. The contractor swears by them, they look like they're built well (I know a few things about windows, having made thousands), and the numbers (NFRC) look good, but when rubber hits the road, it's still a lot of money. Christmas Cactus drooping..?

1990 Volvo 740 GL Problems?

OK, the car has a 2.3 ltr 4 cyl. The power is drastically lagging, there is a lot of hesitation specifically in the low rpm range when you chomp on it. It barely gets up steep hills. I've changed the plugs, muffler, resonator. And I know the cat needs to go next. Could this be from the fuel filter? Or can this have something to do with the pump? I'm a good mechanic and I can do all the work myself, but whats the cause of this?

I am dog sitting for my neighbors memorial day weekend. They left me with their inbred male pug. My neighbors are country folk and for whatever reason lack any sort of compion towards animals - I have seen this demonstrated on more than one occasion. They have 3 female dogs (jack russel, 2 lab mixes) that all live outside. They feed these dogs but rarely interact with them and they all have fleas and worms. The pug is the only dog allowed in their house. THe male is constantly (2X per year) impregnating these feamles, so there is a constant supply of unwanted puppies. I have tried to find them homes before and even adopted one once (which I have since found has genetic defects thanks to the inbred father) but typically the puppies end up dying or mysteriously disappearing. I feel like I have my chance this weekend - I want to secretly get their dog a vasectomy. However, I do feel a little twinge of guilt. Would it be completely morally wrong to do this behind their backs? Or do you think the harm they are inflicitng on these animals warrants the action??

Alright, my gf lives with me. We both have friends of the opposite . All her guy friends are married and she's usually pretty careful and has never had one cross the line, basically pretending to be her friend, until now. Well, my neighbor who says he's engaged ped by her awhile back while she was out in the breezeway smoking. You need a short course of Counselling sounds like you have post traumatic stress disorder and your anxiety is totally justified. My knee hurts really bad?

yesterday i went shopping and we walked around and stuff but it didnt hurt at all during that period of time, we took bart home and as soon as i got off my leg hurt a little bit but i didnt know what from, as hours ped it got worse and it was hard for me to climb stairs. i thought sleep would help but i woke up and the pain is even WORSE and i cant climb stairs without collapsing, standing up off of bed, chair etc. is just painful, walking hurts too, and when i straighten my leg or lean on it, then stand back up its just terrible pain, can you tell me whats going on here? im 14 if that helps at all?

I started taking my first pack of 21-day Yasmin birth control pill on December 22, 2008, when my period started, as instructed by my doctor. After about a week of taking the pills, my period continued for the whole 21 days while I was taking the pill. It started to ease off when I stopped for my 7 day break, but then it started to pick up again. Now I've been on my period for close to 4 weeks. This is my first time taking the pill, and I'm only 15. I am not ually active, I'm just taking the pill to prevent myself from having another ovarian cyst. How long should I wait to take a pregnancy test??

I am on a 24 day cycle and I read somewhere that you need to wait 4 to 5 weeks to take a test. I started charting my cycles about 4 months ago, and I am VERY regular. I get it on day 24 like clockwork. Well, today is day 24, and Aunt Flow hasn't shown up, and it doesn't feel like she is coming. (I can usually feel her coming the day before). I urinate almost every 1/2 hour, and I feel nausious. I toold a test this morning and it was negative. Should I wait a couple days??

I had a dream within a dream. In the first dream, I was aware that I was dreaming, and I was talking to an aunt and my mom. I was telling them everything I wanted to tell them because in the first dream I somehow knew I was dying. Then, there was a big twist at the end of the first one because it turned out I was actually dead already. I died in a car crash with a couple of friends. I have a ordinary B.A. in psychology and a CSSW diploma, I cannot make a diagnosis but I can make observations. Your friend may be ually or physically abused. Cutting is a warning sign that abuse has taken place. Your friend is a minor. I hate to recommend this, but it looks as if Children's aide has to be called. I am just hypothesizing and their is no proof on my end, but there have been cases were the mother covers up the abuse, or fails to accept reality of the situation because her spouse or boyfriend or family member is involved. It looks as if the final option has to be called upon, the mother is neglecting her daughters emotional and mental welfare. The fall out will be grave, pardon the pun, but the decision is now a matter of life or death. The best thing for you to do is get her professional help. I would also go down to the police station and file a report as to what you have seen and what she has said. They will call children's aide, or call children's aide your self and tell them exactly what is going on. No offence, but if my guess is right and there was abuse, your friend will need serious counselling and possibly medication, the problem is not going to be fixed over night. Just saying if I am hypothetically right, abuse victims think it was their fault for the ault and carry around a tonne of false guilt, they feel shame, worthless and dirty...they lost part of their human dignity. Until a social services officer from children's aide, and the police conduct a investigation its just conjecture, but.........at this pint in time they have to be called in because the warning signs are there. There is another option, if she is suicidal walk into a hospital emergency room, notify the ER nurse at the desk that she is suicidal (if she answers yes that she wants to harm her self she will be institutionalized for 72 hrs, but she will get the help she needs). If the doctors are notified that she is being abused (and your friend has to notify the doctors), by law the police and children's aide have to be called. Be persistent that she gets help. OH...I FORGOT....notify the doctors that her mother is aware of her condition and is not doing anything to help so it goes on report and children's aide has to be called. Good luck and God Bless.
