Pulled over at checkpoint last night?

I was stopped at a checkpoint last night and had all my papers and he needed id from my pengers and one didnt have any he had us stopped for a bit but finally let us go.We were doing something we shouldnt have right before they stopped us and he asked bout a smell i said idk and he asked if theres anything in the car he needs to kno bot and i said no he said asked if we been smokin i said not tonight lol im pretty sure he knew but he let us go.Anyways my question is he didnt say anything about a warning so can they put something on your record without telling u or im I fine?thanks.
