What's my best moving option?

So I'm a Senior in Highschool and I plan on going to college but in the summer until college starts I'm going to Scratch academy to help me improve how good of a DJ I am. I Started looking at apartments out of curiosity and all the ones I found have a minimum of 7 months to a year lease are all apartments like this? Is there a better way?
