Should employers reconsider necessary education levels?

It seems to me that a lot of people in college today do not want to be there and society is forcing them to be there. Fifty years ago a person could get a good job with a High School diploma, and now many companies won't even interview a person without at least a Bachelor's degree. As a result, many college's are full of un-motivated clowns who are there to party, destroy the grading curve, waste resources, and ruin the experience for those who truly desire knowledge. It is as if we have recreated High School.
