I told the guy I liked I was gay about 2 weeks ago, and he's flirting loads now?

he might be testing you... he might be straight but just kind of finds it interesting talking, messing around with (not ualy) with a gay guy. Like when the girl walked by and he asked you what kind of girls you like, he might be saying that to see what your reaction would be to the questions because he knows your gay... to the hugging and stuff, he wants to see if you hug like a friend or you take it really seriously and stuff... my best suggestion is play around with him... make it... "complicated"... tomorrow when you see him and a girl walks by just be like... "****! LOOK AT HER!" and then when a hot guy walks by say... "hey hey! hes not bad eather huh?" just to see what he says you know? lol its kinda like a tatste of his own medicane and some fun on your part... you might find out more about him too... dont get me wrong i dnt think hes being a to you and stuff, but hes just curious as what he can do uk? give it a try :)
