Pigeons got a nest outside my back door (Apartment)?

It was your choice to leave the nest there, so why not just wait it out until the babies leave the nest, and then remove the nest and block this area off so they cannot re-nest here again. If they re-build, remove the nest BEFORE any eggs are laid and you are faced with this situation again.
