Article review... Please read this and tell me what you think!?

I was reading a friend's note and it struck me. We reject our Heavenly Father every single day, but He is always there. We get our heart's broken by a boyfriend or girlfriend and He says, "Here Aaryn, come to Me, I can help you. My love is unconditional, your boyfriend only has conditional love". But we still say, "No Lord, I can do this by myself". You know, it kind of reminds me of my nephew. "Brayden, let me help you down the stairs, I don't want you to fall ." And every time he says, "No Aaryn, I can do it myself. I don't need your help". It seriously opens my eyes, because this is how all humans are. A teacher says, "You don't understand? Ok, I'll help you, because I don't want you to fail". We say, "Nah, its ok, I want to figure it out myself". Our parents say, "Someone was spreading rumors about you? Talk to us about it. We want to listen." We say, "No, I want to go through this by myself". I call myself a Christ Follower, but I'm not letting my Leader lead me. A leader is one who helps us and guides us to the end. If we don't let our Leader lead us then how do we expect to find our goal? The Student Government are the leaders of our school and they're trying to guide and help us get to May 25, 2008 (or whatever day the juniors and sopres graduate), by helping and changing our school to make it easier on us. In the same way, God is trying to be our Leader. He's trying to guide us to the end. To the day where I say my last words and make my way up to Heaven. He wants to be our Guide and our Helper. All we have to do is let Him. He wants to be our Healer and He wants to hear our problems. Humans go through life thinking that they are on their own. None of us are on our own. It's in our nature to want to do something ourself. God doesn't expect us to live our life by ourselves, we just need to let Him lead us to our end.
