Following on twitter?

I think my twitter is messed up because when i try to follow someone, i click the follow link and it checks it off in green and says im following them, but if i were to x out their page and go right back to it i would have to click it again, so everytime i leave the page im not following that person anymore and their updates dont show i could go to a celebs page press follow go back to my page then go righttt back to their page 5 seconds later and i have to click follow again every single time i go on their page. and it says on my main page that im not following anyone even though ive been trying... i would love a twitter email or live chat or anything so i can contact them about this but i cant find anything ont heir help or contact page.. any help with the problem or info on how to contact twitter would be great
