HELP!!! My 1988 Jeep Wrangler wont start.?

ok one day i parked my jeep then back to start a few days later and it wouldnt start so i checked the plugs no spark then got new ones they didnt work so i replaced the ignition coil and now it sparks but doest run. The engine fires but wont compress ill crank it but then it just shoots flames out the carburertor
