Why don't the arab league take over?

the west cannot do right from doing wrong so why are we throwing our money away with military action in libya, why not let the arab league take over and sort it out they are already part of the no fly zone with their Jets the moment it is mentioned about arming the so called rebels they, the league start moaning about interference come on lets leave it to the arabs and get out of where we are not wanted and never will be
